The following are some simple answers to some frequently asked questions regarding the TypeTrust End User License Agreement (EULA). Although this FAQ is provided to clarify the most common applications of the TypeTrust EULA, it shall in no way negate any terms or provisions defined by the official TypeTrust (EULA).

Q: Are TypeTrust fonts available as webfonts for @font-face web embedding?
A: Fonts designed by Silas Dilworth are available with the purchase of additional licensing tailored to your intended use. Contact us for details.
Some of the other fonts we offer are available for web embedding through third-party webfont services. Feel free to contact us if you don't find them available elsewhere.
Q: Can I make my own webfont versions of the fonts I've licensed through TypeTrust?
A: No. Please contact us if you need webfonts of anything we offer.

Q: May we send TypeTrust fonts to our commercial printer to output a job?
A: Yes, of course.

Q: May we embed TypeTrust fonts in a PDF?
A: Yes, with permissions set to Previewing and Printing Only.

Q: May we create a logo using one of your fonts?
A: This may require a Commercial License commensurate to the scope of the logo's application and prominence of any TypeTrust fonts. Please contact us to discuss.

Q: May we use TypeTrust fonts in the design of an ad campaign?
A: This may require a Commercial License based on the scope and duration of the campaign and the prominence of any TypeTrust fonts. Please contact us to discuss.

Q: May we use TypeTrust fonts in the design and production of merchandise like silkscreened T-shirts, coffeemugs or stickers?
A: This use requires a Commercial License. Please contact us to discuss the nature of the project and to what extent the font will impact the design.

Q: May we make rubberstamps of TypeTrust fonts?
A: Making rubberstamps for resale will require a Commercial License. This applies to any part of a TypeTrust font, whether you use individual letters, dingbats, or set full words.

Q: May we bundle TypeTrust fonts in our video game?
A: Yes, but this use requires a Commercial License. Please contact us for pricing.

Q: May we modify TypeTrust fonts with a font design application?
A: Yes, but only for your personal or internal business use, which does not include commercial use, reproduction, or distribution. If you present to a client any modified version of a TypeTrust font, that version is subject to all the terms of the EULA and requires a Commercial License based on your intended use.
Aside from aesthetic modifications, if you find technical fault with any TypeTrust font, we will make any reasonable improvements. Our philosophy is that a typeface is always in development, but eventually meets common standards of usability and publication. If your personal standards merit further development of a TypeTrust font, we look forward to hearing your feedback.
